Berries & Bundles is a retail website owned and operated by Forest Berry Ltd., a UK limited company based in Bracknell Forest, Berkshire. This policy describes how and when we collect, use and share information when you (“the customer”) set up an account; or make a purchase; or contact Berries & Bundles (“the company”) or any other way you use our services or website. 

  1. Online services

    Our website hosting provider is Squarespace, and we are confident that using a recognised provider means appropriate, secure and compliant data processing agreements are in place. We have taken every step possible within the remit of a small business to ensure that data is secure. However it is important that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is entirely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our website and services is at your own risk. Please remember that you should only access the services within a secure environment.

  2. Customer account

    If you create a customer account on this website, we collect personal information to improve our checkout experience and customer service. This information may include your:

    • Billing and delivery address(es)

    • Details about your orders (for example, size)

    • Email address

    • Name

    • Phone number

      We share this information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can provide website services to us.

  3. Personal information

    When you buy something on this website, we collect personal information from you to fulfil the order. We may collect information like your:

    • Billing and delivery address

    • Details relating to your purchase (for example, size)

    • Email address

    • Name

    • Phone number

    We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us.

    As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

  4. How we use this information

    We require this information to process your orders for example we need your address to ship the products to and provide customer service in the unlikely event of a damaged / faulty product. We may if appropriate advise that you contact the manufacturer directly in order to avoid us processing your data unnecessarily. We may also be called to provide this information in reference to a legal claim if required by court order. 

  5. Payment information

    Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not have access to customer card numbers; however we are able to initiate refunds using this service. Stripe’s privacy policy is available here: https://stripe.com/en-gb/privacy

  6. Sharing information

    Berries & Bundles will never share customer information unless required on a legal basis. This website is supported by Squarespace. In order to minimise data collected or shared we have also chosen to minimise the number of third party integrations which monitor your activity on our website.

  7. Data retention

    Berries & Bundles will hold your information on our systems for as long as is necessary to comply with our legitimate business interests and statutory or legal obligations (for example our financial obligations such as VAT). Our retention periods and process are reviewed regularly. We will not use this data to contact you in regards to any other service outside of Berries & Bundles products. Any emails that we receive from our customers to our business email address will be deleted after 6 months. Where there is email correspondence back and forth the 6 month period will begin on the date of the last email the company receives from the customer.

  8. Social media

    If you have liked or followed any social media connected to Berries & Bundles we do not store any of this information and you can remove any contact from Berries & Bundles on these platforms by unliking or unfollowing as appropriate.  Information (including comments, hashtags, pictures and private messages etc.) you choose to share with us by interacting with our social media accounts is entirely at your own risk.

  9. Your rights

    You have the right to access any and all information that we hold on you. You can also request to delete or change any information we have on you. If you wish to change any information we hold from you or remove yourself please log into your website account. If you do not have an account and wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list, please email hello@berriesandbundles.uk. 

  10. Cookies

    This site is supported by Squarespace. In order to comply with GDPR we have chosen under our setup to: disable activity logs so we don’t see visitors IP addresses or any personal data; disable Squarespace analytics cookies always so we don’t place non-essential cookies on visitors browsers; display a cookies banner declaration and use Cookieyes to manage your consent.

  11. Website visitors

    This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including:

    • Information about your browser, network and device

    • Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website

    • Your IP address

    Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyses the data in a de-personalised form. As with clause 9 / Cookies, we have opted out of non-essential cookies on visitors browsers.

  12. Order and account emails

    We may email you with messages about your order or account activity. For example, we may email you to tell you that:

    • You’ve created a Customer Account

    • Your Customer Account password has been reset or updated

    • You’ve made a purchase

    • Your order has shipped

    It’s not possible to unsubscribe from these messages.

    We share your contact information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can send these emails to you on our behalf.

  13. Subscription or mailing lists

    By subscribing to our mailing list you can indicate your consent to receiving occasional marketing emails (of which you can opt out at any time) or terms update emails from us. This includes occasional mailings through MailChimp or similar. We do not believe in spamming you. You have the choice to opt into or out of being on our mailing list when you create an account for this website or make a purchase from us using this website. If you wish to change any information we hold from you or remove yourself please log into your website account. If you do not have an account and wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list, please email hello@berriesandbundles.uk.  Service announcements, such as sales or discount periods and when pre-loved bundles are available, will be made on social media in order to reduce unnecessary email traffic.

  14. Competitions

    We may announce competition winners on social media and privately message you via social media in order to inform competition winners of their individual single use discount code. We cannot however be responsible for your social media account privacy settings and you may need to contact us if your settings are not open to receiving messages from “unknown” contacts.   15. Reviews

    You may receive emails from Judge.me integration requesting your assistance in leaving a review for this store. By submitting a review you agree to the review being visible on this website including and words, details and images or videos you also choose to submit. You can amend or withdraw your review at any time including after submission.
