I first encountered reusables in 2014 when my daughter was born, when cotton breast pads and a machine washable swim nappy were the obvious choice for the comfort, not to mention the money they saved!

But it wasn’t until lockdown in 2020 that I converted to terry and then pocket nappies on my second child; and truly became obsessed.

And now you’re reading my third baby - my small business!

Reusables are easy when you know how!

Since my kids are growing up, I’m finding there is more of a need for support and advice in the reusable menstrual space, and specifically for those girls who are starting their periods young.

And I should know; it happened to me when I was just eleven years old.

So I’m making it my mission to be an expert in reusable products, and to provide practical advice for parents going through this.

Reusables are life changing!

That is what’s driving me to make them first choice for my daughter & the generations to come. And I really am helping women to change their lives and how comfortable they feel on their period.

I used to say “we” on this site all the time, and when I say that it was because I couldn’t do this without my ever supportive hubby and boy toddler nappy tester.

But it really it is just me, working in our spare room around a full time job and two kids.

So I do have brand origins and values…

Values

  • Everything I say online or if you meet me is genuine. I’m not selling for the sake of selling.

    This is about learning and growing, and being open and honest.

    But it would be nice if it my business covered itself one day.

  • Everything I do comes from a place of wanting to help those who are new to reusables have a great start to their journey. My over enthusiasm is not fake. Which is why my driver is passion not profit.

  • I test every product and if I’m not impressed, they don’t make the cut.

    I only stock the best brands which are manufactured by suppliers maintaining the highest ethical standards.

  • The products I sell are sustainable, and promote sustainability and that goes without saying.

    But so is my one-lady-band little business. Growth needs to be sustainable for me as a working mum.

  • I am inspired by women who have become an impactor, not just an influencer.
