How to dry

This depends on your household. I have a washing line and a conservatory and having tested I find the sunny warmth in the conservatory works best.

With only 2 days worth of nappies it all fits onto a 3 tier minky airer which takes up minimal space and should work for even the smallest households. I also use a “sock octopus” or sock airer for boosters, wipes and CSP because it annoys the hell out of me when they keep falling to the floor. You can also hang this over a radiator or near a window in winter. I am trying to find a stockist who sells ethical ones of these as opposed to made in China but this is proving a challenge. In the meantime Wilko do one for only £2.25.

- Hang your all in ones and 2 parts by the booster so the air can circulate around them and they are not stretched at the elastics. Undo the velcro tabs because this is sometimes the hardest part to get dry

- Wraps and pocket shells can simply be draped as they air dry within hours. I peg wet bags on the side so again air can circulate. When I hang them up at night I put them PUL side out so water droplets dry first and then turn them over/out again in the morning to get the PUL thoroughly dry, but this is just me.

- Don’t however leave your wraps, pockets shells and wet bags in the sun for long periods of time because they can get degraded by intense UV light.

- You can use a tumble drier for anything like a booster but not anything plastic.

- You can also put an airer near to a radiator in winter. But don’t dry anything bamboo directly sitting on a radiator because it can degrade them.

- And hopefully I don’t have to mention that plastic on a radiator is also not such a great idea. Common sense people!!!
